ONE TRAP
When we compare ourselves to others, we focus solely on what’s missing – what we lack, how we don’t measure up, and how far we still have to go. It breeds discouragement and discontent.
The problem is we’re often comparing our beginning to someone else’s middle – or our middle to someone else’s end. It’s not rational.
Worse still, it can push us toward goals we think will make us happy… but don’t.
You’ve climbed the ladder – only to find it’s leaning against the wrong wall.
ONE TRUTH
Life rewards those with courage:
The courage to take the risk.
To have the uncomfortable conversation.
To make the call.
To be vulnerable.
To send the application.
To begin before you feel ready.
To go against the grain.
Only those who act with courage are in a position to win.
ONE TOOL
Choose three values, qualities, or standards of behaviour that describe the kind of person who achieves what you’re aiming for – either in life generally or in a goal you’re currently STUCK on.
Maybe it’s: confident, assertive, consistent.
Now – what are three small ways you could embody each of these over the next 7 days.
Often, the most effective way to create change isn’t by focusing on the goal, but on the kind of person who would achieve it.
Because when you achieve something great, you don’t just hit a target – your identity changes.
Your worldview. Your self-image. Your internal story.
So start with who you want to be.
Prove it to yourself with small wins.
And the outcome becomes inevitable.
Until next week…
With love,
Cordelia xx
